Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Planner in South Bend at a major specialty vehicle manufacturer. The target pay rate for this position is $60k.
Due to the governmental basis of the work, only US Citizens or Green Card Holders will be considered.
The successful candidate can expect to do the following:
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review kit requirements and maintain all planned order and production orders.
- Communicate necessary shortages to team to ensure on time delivery to the customer.
- Work with the production floor to release all kits in a timely manner and provide adequate time to pack complete.
- Review new requisitions via weekly reports to analyze data that communicates the Aftermarket requirements.
- Ensure suppliers ship parts in time for production line requirements without overstock conditions.
- Understand and provide information regarding ship quantity/min order qty to team.
- Research items for shortage report.
- Contact suppliers for timely shipments.
- Review future aftermarket forecast and check that materials are ordered correctly.
- Provide logistics support for daily operations, expedite set up/coordination.
- Coordinate review of overall DM/rejected material to ensure timely returns/disposition.
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have SAP experience
- Strong organizational skills, knowledge of MS Office Products, and a high level of initiative
- Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
- Be extremely accurate in quality of work
- Work independently
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills required
- Should be able to multitask and work well with others
