Our Client is looking for a SCADA Engineer to join their team in Spartanburg, SC.


This is a direct-hire role with a salary range of  $95 - $120K. 5% annual bonus target. A Comprehensive healthcare plans, PTO package, relocation assistance available.  


Work Environment: Fully Onsite
Travel: Up to 10%, primarily to Oshkosh, WI
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen

 

 

About the Role:


Our Senior Systems Analyst (SCADA Engineer) will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting the SCADA (Ignition) and MES (Sepasoft) systems for Spartanburg NGDV assembly. The role emphasizes both system enhancements and ensuring daily production uptime.

 

Impactful Responsibilities:

  • Execute SCADA/MES development and configuration
  • Provide production support and ensure system uptime during 1st shift
  • Collaborate on system integrations with PLCs, JDE, and other platforms
  • Develop functional specifications, test cases, and system documentation
  • Maintain SCADA/MES environment security and data integrity
  • Assist with technology deployment beyond SCADA/MES systems


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



 

 

Job Requirements

Top Qualifications Required:

  1. SCADA Experience, specifically with Ignition platform
  2. Experience with Sepasoft platform
  3. 2-3 years of development background (scripting-heavy implementation)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SCADA/MES experience from the manufacturing sector
  • Local candidates strongly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of SCADA/MES engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Ignition, Sepasoft, Rockwell/Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT
  • Coding experience in Python, Java, Jython, C/C++, Visual Basic, SQL
  • Strong Windows Server experience

Standout Qualifications:

  • Integration experience (REST, SOAP, APIs, Web Services)
  • OEE concept knowledge and MES platform integration
  • Track & Trace technology understanding
  • Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling concepts
  • Code repository management experience (e.g., Github)
