We have a great client that is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst in Oak Park, MI!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the forecasting and planning process through analysis of actual results and variances to forecast and budget
• Own the data management and maintenance of Company’s forecasting/planning software, Workday Adaptive
• Ensure data in Workday Adaptive is reconciled to Company’s ERP, Plex, and that reporting is consistent between the two systems
• Create reports in Adaptive or export data to create reports in Power BI/Excel
• Work with Manufacturing and Sales/Marketing to sync data from the systems to Adaptive for Budget, Forecast, and KPIs
• Maintain monthly financial reports, including expense and capital forecasts, in close coordination with Company’s Finance Team
• Assist in preparation of the monthly financial reporting package for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
• Support the overall Annual Budget process with department managers and directors
• Analyze material costs with Supply Chain, Program and Engineering Team to drive profitability
• Ad hoc reporting and assistance to the Finance and Accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Finance or Accounting
• Up to 7 years’ experience, manufacturing, automotive or commercial vehicles industries preferred
• Analytical skillset with the ability to think big picture while being detail oriented in a small to mid-sized organization
• Self-motivated, self-managed, team player able to lead by example with an exceptional level of honesty and integrity
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Power BI knowledge a plus
• Experience working with ERPs, Consolidation systems and Budgeting software, experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and Plex preferred
