Location: Cincinnati, OH
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Worksite: 100% Onsite

Our client is hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Lab Technician to join their overnight quality control team at a well-established chemical manufacturing site. This position is ideal for detail-oriented lab professionals who enjoy autonomous work and thrive in a quiet shift environment.
Our client is hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Lab Technician to join their overnight quality control team at a well-established chemical manufacturing site. This position is ideal for detail-oriented lab professionals who enjoy autonomous work and thrive in a quiet shift environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s in Chemistry (or related field) with 5 years of lab experience OR
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry (no experience required)
- Preferred industry: chemical manufacturing, oil/gas, or petrochemical labs
- Equipment familiarity with HPLC, GC, AAS, ICP, KF titrators, Brookfield Viscometers, pH meters
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Release materials to production based on lab results and quality standards
- Conduct equipment calibrations and routine checks
- Maintain accurate records using SAP and Documentum
- Participate in investigations of quality deviations
- Serve as an Emergency Responder (training provided)
- Adhere to EHS and Responsible Care® guidelines
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Change gas cylinders and transport lab carts (up to 75 yards)
- Walk stairs and perform occasional heavy waste handling
