Sales Support/Customer Service 
 
Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour
 Type: Full-time
 
We’re looking for a Sales Support Associate to join our client, a top U.S.-based company that makes and supplies facility safety and maintenance products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career (recent graduate or trade school) who is eager to learn, grow, and build a strong foundation in sales and customer support. We provide hands-on training and development to set you up for long-term success.

Job Summary:
The Sales Support professional acts as a liaison between customers and the sales department, ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting with order placement, addressing account questions, resolving issues, and supporting overall sales operations.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Field written and verbal customer inquiries to place new orders, follow up on existing orders, or for problem resolution.
  • Enter sales leads, quotes, and confirmed sales in the computer system for tracking and processing.
  • Process customer inquiries and paperwork such as credit applications, freight quotes, custom color matches, returns, and duplicate invoice copies.
  • Follow-up on confirmed sales to guarantee on-time shipment and delivery.
  • Interface with sales force to support sales objectives and business growth.
  • Handle dealer account information, including commissions.
  • Maintain customer database by updating customer contact information.
  • Provide customers with the requested paperwork, such as supplier forms and minority certificates.
  • Other tasks/duties as required.
 
Work Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service is required.
  • Experience in sales or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Skills:
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
