Repair & Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Repair & Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and ensure smooth production operations at their Ludlow facility. This role is ideal for a highly skilled maintenance professional who excels in troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and working independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and hands-on industrial maintenance experience, including:
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering instructions
- Proficiency with basic power tools (drills, saws, grinders, pneumatic/hydraulic tools)
- Hands-on experience using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills for automation equipment, wiring, airlines, power supplies, AC/DC motors, and control cabinets
- Ability to work with PLCs and HMIs, including basic PLC programming for troubleshooting
- Experience troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase equipment and control circuits
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and refine preventive maintenance procedures
- Maintain automation equipment and machinery to designed standards
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and repair defective circuitry and electronic components
- Install equipment to improve operational efficiency
- Operate and maintain mill, lathe, and surface grinder equipment
- Perform MIG and TIG welding as needed
- Analyze machine data to evaluate performance and determine necessary adjustments
- Repair electrical and pneumatic devices
- Work with RO and DI water systems
- Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment
