Industrial Maintenance Technician- Ludlow, VT
Pay Rate: $31.46 - $34.77 per hour (based on experience)
Status: Contract to Hire
Schedule: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
Some Fridays required for projects and preventive maintenance when equipment is offline
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (production line experience required; building/apartment maintenance not applicable)
- Strong communication skills; positive, team-oriented attitude
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to read manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Hands-on experience with power tools, meters, and test equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, automation, and control systems
- Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, and basic PLC programming
- Skilled in troubleshooting control circuits and up to 480V 3-phase equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and improve preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, automation, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Install and maintain automation and electrical control systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and improve operational efficiency
- Use machine data to analyze performance and determine adjustments
