We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department unit, monitoring patients' vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients with various medical conditions.
Shift: 7p-730a No on call. Every other weekend, Must be available for at least one holiday, 3-12's.
May request up to 1 week of RTO!
Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Contract Date: 8/11-11/8/2025
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Cerner experience required
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Required Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN
- Active Basic Life support (BLS)
Required Certification & Licensure:
-Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Must have ACLS and BLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty area
- Must have basic dysrhythmia testing competency
- Every other weekend required
