We are working closely with a team to assist them in filling an opening for a Quality Inspector to join their team in Mishawaka, IN.

Hourly pay is based on experience, and this is a long-term contract role.

This role will be responsible for:

• Assure quality procedures, processes, Completed Vehicle Inspection Standard (CVIS) are being followed
• Incumbent works with DCMA and direct customers to achieve truck sales and performs FIR audit with government
• Position supports the Quality Manager with special projects as they arise
• Interface with other departmental personnel in the manufacturing process
• Incumbent may work with Warehouse on incoming inspection of supplied parts and material

Looking for experience with:

• Associate degree in quality or related field is a plus, but not required
• Maximum of 3 years’ experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills
• Experience using Total Quality Tools for problem solving is a plus, but not required
• Must have basic skills in MS Office Excel and Word
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement processes
• Strong initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbal
• Military training on the HMMWV is a plus

Some travel may be required for traveling from Mishawaka to Rock Island Arsenal.
