Job Description
Join our Client, premier automotive company as a Quality Engineer.
You will ensure that our products and processes meet the highest quality standards. Your role will involve identifying quality shortfalls, developing corrective measures, and implementing robust quality control systems. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional troubleshooting skills and a dedication to maintaining and exceeding established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform thorough root cause analysis of quality issues, utilizing statistical, analytical, and advanced problem-solving tools to evaluate quality performance.
- Corrective Actions: Recommend and implement cost-effective, permanent corrective actions to address quality shortfalls.
- Data Analysis: Analyze quality data from both internal and external sources to ensure accurate correlation and identify trends.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues that are not plant controllable.
- Engineering Changes: Manage engineering changes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
- Product Evaluation: Conduct product evaluation requests to ensure the robustness of product or process changes before full implementation.
- Rework Procedures: Recommend and validate rework procedures to maintain product quality.
- Inspection Procedures: Develop and implement inspection procedures and best practices to enhance quality control processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Experience in utilizing statistical and analytical tools for quality performance evaluation.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers.
- Proven track record in managing engineering changes and ensuring robust product or process changes.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and best practices in inspection procedures.
- Ability to recommend and validate rework procedures to maintain product integrity.

Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or applicable Technical Engineering Degree from an accredited university
