Quality Assurance Lab Tech
Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of their products. You will be responsible for performing quality control and assurance testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, adhering to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and RCMS Management System standards. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with all certification requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality testing on samples following documented methods, and communicate findings to Operators and Supervisors.
- Evaluate data using specialized software to ensure results meet internal and external specifications, and promptly notify relevant parties of any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update chemical standards documentation, ensuring timely re-certification as needed.
- Conduct routine chemical reactions, bench-scale tests, sample collection, environmental monitoring, and equipment maintenance/verification.
- Troubleshoot issues and participate in root cause analysis to optimize laboratory and plant processes.
- Monitor and interpret SPC charts, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to ISO/RCMS requirements and maintain accurate records of instrument verification and solution standardization.
- Follow a 12-hour rotating shift schedule and be available for overtime when required.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Work Schedule
Rotating 12 hours shift (Rotational between day and night).

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Basic: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred:
- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Experience in a QC/QA production lab environment, particularly in roles with increasing responsibility.
- Solid understanding of general chemistry, laboratory safety, math, and statistics.
- Proficiency in software packages such as Microsoft Office, LIMS, and SAP.
