About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead home repair and energy efficiency projects as part of their Income Qualified Programs. This role is ideal for a skilled construction project manager who is passionate about making a difference in underserved communities. You will oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.
Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead home repair and energy efficiency projects as part of their Income Qualified Programs. This role is ideal for a skilled construction project manager who is passionate about making a difference in underserved communities. You will oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans and schedules; coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Budget Management: Track project costs, monitor resource use, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Perform site inspections to ensure work complies with all building codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and contractors; provide regular updates and manage expectations.
- Risk & Safety Oversight: Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure job site safety compliance.
- Reporting: Maintain organized project documentation and generate progress reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, ideally in home repair or low-income housing projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, safety requirements, and energy efficiency standards.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to community service and improving housing conditions.
