Production Supervisor

We have a great client that is looking for 3^rd shift Production Supervisors in Alma, MI!

Direct Hire opportunity, $60k to $65k, OT straight time over 45 hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Supervisor is accountable and responsible for managing departmental safety, production, environmental controls, developing production employees, quality, and departmental cost controls.
• Ensure the health and welfare of the people
• Follow Code of Conduct, plant labor agreement, and plant rules
• Protect assets from loss or damage
• Oversee team members assigned work to meet Safety, Quality, OEE, and Delivery Targets
• Ensure team members are following Standardized Work and have coaching support
• Ensure team members complete 5S/TPM activities and Workplace Organization Standards are being maintained
• Ensure a smooth and seamless shift transition
• Responsible for record integrity
• Create a work environment that encourages continuous improvement and employee engagement
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education

• Minimum 2 years production supervisory experience required
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, preferred
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts
• MS Office tools fluency, especially Excel
• Self-directed, detail oriented, reliable, and strong initiative
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and others as required
