Production Supervisor
Location: Oshkosh, WI (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend overtime as needed
Compensation: $28/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production schedules, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who thrives on problem-solving, adapting to change, and holding team members accountable to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations for 1–2 production areas or processes within the facility.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Enforce safety, quality, and 5S standards across the production floor.
- Support troubleshooting of production issues and coordinate timely solutions.
- Drive process improvements through root-cause analysis, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with company policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals.
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills in a changing environment.
Preferred:
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing.
- Strong organizational and project planning abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
