About the Role:
Our Client, a global leader in agricultural chemicals, is seeking Packaging Operators I to support day-to-day production packaging operations at their Sparks, GA facility. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently packaging agricultural chemicals while meeting strict quality and safety standards.
Our Client, a global leader in agricultural chemicals, is seeking Packaging Operators I to support day-to-day production packaging operations at their Sparks, GA facility. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently packaging agricultural chemicals while meeting strict quality and safety standards.
This is a rotating shift role (2-2-3 schedule), meaning you’ll work 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, and repeat — including some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform packaging tasks such as labeling, batching, capping, boxing, wiping, stacking, and palletizing materials
- Handle various materials including jugs, boxes, and packing components
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned work area
- Adhere to strict quality and safety protocols at all times
- Follow direction from Operators and Supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Regularly lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
- Climb stairs periodically to perform job duties
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Willingness to work 10–12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the production schedule
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be able to wear a respirator, work in high-noise areas, and operate a forklift (training provided if needed)
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check, and medical evaluation (respirator clearance included)
