Learning Technology & AI Solutions Consultant
Pay Rate: $$55-$62/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Location: Onsite in Houston, TX (Remote may be considered for an exceptional candidate)
Overview
We are seeking a Learning Technology & AI Solutions Consultant to guide and optimize our learning technology ecosystem. This role focuses on delivering scalable, data-informed, and innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall learner experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on learning tools and technology across LMS, LXP, LRS, and authoring platforms.
- Evaluate platform performance, adoption, and data quality to drive continuous improvement.
- Assess, select, and manage learning technology vendors and influence platform roadmaps.
- Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, ethical, and value-driven learning applications.
- Establish guardrails for responsible AI use, including privacy, bias mitigation, and explainability.
- Strengthen team capability in learning technology, analytics, and AI.
- Serve as a consultative partner to Learning Enablement, Sales Enablement, and Leadership Development teams.
- Recommend the right technologies based on business needs—not trends.
- Develop documentation, standards, and enablement materials to support technology use.
- Ensure risks are properly identified and managed according to compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in learning technology, instructional design, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading enterprise learning platforms and learning technology strategy.
- Strong knowledge of LMS/LXP ecosystems, SCORM, xAPI, and learning analytics.
- Experience implementing learning technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.

- Successful rollout of innovative learning technologies that meet enterprise needs.
- Centralized Learning Record Store (LRS) supporting consistent and efficient tracking across the workforce.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Deep expertise in LMS, LXP, LRS, authoring tools, and modern learning standards.
- Familiarity with tools such as Workday, Cornerstone, Degreed, EdCast, NovoEd, Articulate, Rise, Microsoft Teams, and EasyRetro.
- Strong digital content governance skills—taxonomy, metadata, tagging, and lifecycle management.
- Practical experience applying AI to content generation, recommendations, search, analytics, and workflow automation.
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience deploying scalable learning solutions for diverse audiences, including deskless workers.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
