Schedule: Initial training Mon–Fri starting at 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM for 6–8 weeks; assignment then transitions to Midnight Shift
Pay Range: $31–$41/hour (varies by experience, shift, and benefit package)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to support our expanding Stat Lab due to an increase in patient beds. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in hematology and clinical diagnostics, with hands-on experience in fluid cell counts and differentials. This is a high-impact role working on the automation line, offering both growth and conversion potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex analytical procedures on blood and body fluids using manual and automated techniques
- Operate laboratory instruments and manage related information systems
- Analyze, interpret, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain quality control, calibration, and maintenance of instruments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lab efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5 years of recent laboratory experience (hematology strongly preferred)
- Experience performing fluid cell counts and differentials
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Medical Technology
- Medical Laboratory Sciences
- Clinical Laboratory Sciences
- OR Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology with aligned coursework
- Previous experience in a medical laboratory setting (minimum 6 months)
Preferred:
- Hematology Specialist Certification
- National technologist-level certification (e.g., ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW)
- Experience on an automation line
