Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy MRP Planner to join our Indirect Materials team. This role supports maintenance and operations by ensuring materials are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and understands urgency in supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage supply of materials to meet maintenance needs
- Maintain minimum safety stock levels
- Utilize MRP systems for planning and purchasing
- Expedite orders and communicate with vendors
- Analyze data using advanced Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
- Monitor inventory trends and recommend actions
Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or MRP planning
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Organized with strong follow-up skills
- Able to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills with vendors and internal teams
