Location: Portland, OR
Worksite: 4011 SE International Way, Ste 604, Portland, OR 97222
Type: Contingent – Standard | Light Industrial
Schedule: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week | Sunday start | Weekly timesheets
Estimated Duration: 2,088 total hours
Pay Rate: $15.58/hour

Job Summary:

The Production Technician supports the manufacturing and calibration of optical temperature measurement instruments. This role involves light manufacturing, precision testing, and reporting to both manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and calibrate optical temperature measurement instruments
Execute defined manufacturing and testing procedures
Generate and report accurate product test data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree or certification preferred
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in product technician, light manufacturing, or calibration/testing roles
- SAP knowledge preferred
Skills:
- Understanding of optics, electronics, and materials science preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Good vision, dexterity, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and multitasking abilities
