Schedule: Full-Time | 100% Onsite

This is a contract role. Possible extension or direct hire. (Benefits Avaialble)
Overview:
Our client is seeking a hands-on, adaptable, and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to support daily facility operations. This is a great opportunity for a dependable professional who enjoys solving problems, performing general repairs, and supporting the needs of a technical workforce.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance, general construction, or handyman services
- Strong working knowledge of at least three or more of the following:
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- Painting/drywall
- Landscaping
- General construction
- Furniture/fixture installation
- Weatherproofing/caulking/tile
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and complete routine and corrective maintenance work orders
- Perform office remodeling tasks including light plumbing, basic wiring, and furniture moves
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, lighting, cabinet fixtures, ceiling tiles, and more
- Execute general repair tasks such as drywall, tile, painting, caulking, and ethernet cable installation
- Inspect buildings for maintenance or safety issues, escalating concerns appropriately
- Support landscaping, heavy equipment/furniture moves, and ad hoc requests
- Follow all safety protocols and know when to pause work for safety assessments
- Exhibit flexibility in assisting both technical employees and building tenants with day-to-day needs
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting of items greater than 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, climbing, carrying, and equipment handling
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed
