MRP Planner/Floor Supervisor

We are looking to add a MRP Planner/Floor Supervisor to the team in Fairfax, KS!
This is a contract to hire position with a pay rate of $20-$24/hour. Benefits are available.
This position will work a M-F, 1st shift schedule (6:30 am – 3 pm). Selected candidates should also have weekend availability.
As an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Planner/Floor Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless coordination of production activities and ensuring optimal utilization of resources. The role handles a high volume of independent work, so time management, follow-up, and prioritizing will be necessary. Communication amongst our team and its members is key, as we are a small team and collaborate with one another to complete projects and long-term roles.
Responsibilities:

Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels

Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP systems

Advanced Excel skills – specifically VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables

Purchasing or inventory management background

Knowledge of computer systems and programs with the following preferred: SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook

Skill in evaluating data, determining trends and appropriate course of action, as well as gaining acceptance of recommendations

Supervise 2 employees
