Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Lead Crib Attendant to support the paint department and oversee daily operations within the General Stores Crib. This role ensures emergency parts and indirect materials are delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate can work independently, solve problems quickly, and maintain organized inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and deliver emergency parts to production areas
- Support day-to-day General Stores Crib operations
- Assist UAW crib attendants and answer questions
- Investigate missing parts and documentation issues
- Communicate out-of-stock and back-order updates
- Help maintain accurate inventory levels
- Follow established procedures and deadlines
Qualifications
- 1+ year of warehouse or inventory experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to read and interpret forms, safety rules, and procedure manuals
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
