Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
About the Role
Our Client is seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to join their operations team in Whitelaw, WI. This hands-on role supports daily landfill and site maintenance activities, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in keeping facilities well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up debris and maintain cleanliness around the landfill area. Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing grass and weed control.Safely navigate slopes and uneven terrain to complete site maintenance duties. Assist with general manual labor such as lifting, moving materials, loading/unloading, and operating basic equipment. Support site staff as needed with various operational tasks. Follow all safety procedures and maintain proper use of protective gear, including steel-toed shoes.
Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED. Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred: Previous experience in general labor, construction, or field operations. Familiarity with landscaping or equipment operation.
Work Environment Outdoor, physical environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. Requires walking, lifting (up to 30 lbs), and occasional exposure to dirt, noise, and odors. Standard 40-hour workweek with potential for overtime. Additional
