Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking for Lab Support to join the team at their site in Elyria, OH.

This long-term contract position (eligible for extension or direct hire for the right candidate) offers a starting pay rate of $20/hour (benefits are available).

Responsibilities of the Lab Tech include but are not limited to:

• Main priorities are receiving COA’s, checking and entering results in Lab Vantage and keeping our retain area up to date by documenting new additions to the retain area and disposing of expired retains 
• Additional duties are working in the lab, testing in coming raw material, in process testing and testing of the final product. This includes, but is not limited to, ICP, Xray, Surface Area, Pore Volume, Density and Carbon content of the material

Work Schedule:  Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday

• Previous lab experience (academic or professional) is Preferred
• Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation, compatibility, handling, and storage are required
• High School Diploma Associate Degree with 2 years practical laboratory experience is Required
  • Bachelor Degree in Science Preferred
