Our client, a major chemical manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Communications Specialist to  to work with their Human Resources Department in Research Triangle Park, NC.

 


This is a contract position currently budgeted for 3-6 months  (possibility of extension) ) that offers a pay rate of $28 -$35




This will be a hybrid working role- 3 days in office/ 2 days remote




The HR Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the HR team with operational planning, development, and delivery of people-related communications to support our team's commitment to creating an exceptional people experience. Our ideal candidate will need to apply creative thinking, professional writing skills and functional HR knowledge to support innovative communication projects that raise awareness and appreciation of our employees’ total rewards, while advancing the must-wins of Human Resources. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:




• Coordinates and directs all HR marketing initiatives to enhance and increase engagement for a variety of employees.
• Support the development and deployment of engaging communications strategies, plans and tactics for HR programs and offerings.
• Works collaboratively with the HR senior staff to address high-level trends, such as morale, employee retention, surveys, and more.
• Plan, edit and write/produce content for a variety of internal communication mediums, including internal editorial channels (written and video), internal social media, virtual/virtual live events, newsletters, and digital screens.
• Manage communications analytics approach, learning about best practices and latest technology and ensuring communicators are aligned.
• Manage content generation, visual enhancements, and review processes, including PowerPoint.
• Business operations support including, but not limited to, documentation of processes, intranet, template generation, documentation management, and project coordination.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, public relations, journalism, or related major.
    • 5-7 years’ work experience, with 2-3 years of communications or relevant experience.
    • HR communications and/or marketing experience at a large global company is preferred.
    • Excellent writing skills, editing and proof-reading skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams.
    • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control, including proofreading experience.
    • Experience writing and editing following the APA style guide.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
