Our client, a major manufacturer, is looking to add a Housekeeper to their team in Spartanburg, SC. 

This long-term contract opportunity (possible extension or direct hire for the right candidate) offers a starting pay rate of $15.00/hour (benefits are available).

Position Objective:

Join a team as a Cleaning and Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our processing equipment and site structures. Your efforts will help maintain dust levels below OSHA standards and contribute to producing the highest quality seed in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Wipe ducting, beams, and rails to remove dust accumulations.
• Empty trash containers as needed to uphold hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities.
• Assist in variety cleans to prevent cross-contamination.
• Work closely with team members to ensure top-quality work and seed production.
• Cross-train for processing assignments to enhance team flexibility.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Support the Shift Supervisor as directed and assist in other site areas, including seed returns and shipping of finished goods.
• Participate in delinting processes as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and upkeep seed equipment.
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations to promote a safe working environment, including confined space procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and ladder safety.
• Engage in ongoing safety training and apply best practices in daily operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Plant Manager.

Work Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm (flexibility required)
