Full-Time | 13-Week Contract

What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to member inquiries via phone, mail, and in person.
- Research, investigate, and resolve customer questions, complaints, and appeals in a timely and professional manner.
- Educate members on healthcare plans, benefits, policies, procedures, and coverage options.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with internal departments and healthcare providers to resolve member concerns.
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Support member enrollment activities, outreach initiatives, and departmental projects.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and company policies.
- Manage multiple cases while providing timely follow-up and service recovery.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent customer service or call center experience within the past three years.
- Associate's Degree OR four (4) years of recent healthcare customer service experience in lieu of a degree.
- Medical Terminology course (must be completed within six months of hire if not already completed).
- Knowledge of HMO, PPO, POS health plans and claims billing processes.
- Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with a high level of professionalism, empathy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- 13-Week Assignment
- Tentative Start Date: August 17, 2026
