Job Description
Our client is looking for a LONG TERM contract Coatings Analyst (Production QC) for a position in Smyrna, TN.
Starting Pay Rate of $21/Hour PLUS retention bonus paid every 6 months
10 Days of Paid Time Off (PTO)

Long Term Contract position (eligible for extension or direct hire for the right candidate) Coatings Analyst (Production QC) position supports coatings products at the client site by providing services in the areas of measuring, monitoring, charting, reporting and analyzing key product and process characteristics (coatings field analysis).
Schedule 3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs, 8-hour shift
* Selected candidate may work 10-hour shifts and/or Friday shift as needed ** MUST be able to train on the 1st shift if needed

Job Requirements
Qualifications
The Coatings Analyst (Production QC) will possess the following qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Technical fields (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.) with approximately 2 years of relevant experience
OR
High School Diploma with equivalent technical training and 5 years relevant experience - Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience
- Basic Computer Skills
Preferred:
- Paint Application Knowledge/Experience
- Defect Recognition, Analysis and Identification
- Understanding of quality systems and concepts
- SAP Knowledge/Experience (a plus)
