Job Description
Our client is looking for a LONG TERM contract Coatings Analyst (Production QC) for a position in Flint, MI.
* This is a long-term contract position with a starting pay rate of $22/hour PLUS a retention bonus paid every 6 months for the duration of the assignment. *

Coatings Analyst (Production QC) position supports coatings products at the client site by providing services in the areas of measuring, monitoring, charting, reporting and analyzing key product and process characteristics (coatings field analysis).
The Coatings Analyst (Production QC) team supports the efforts of sales/technical teams to assure value to the customer for new product introductions, product technical support and problem investigation, analysis, and resolution by providing coatings field analysis at the manufacturing site. They will help assure that product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to be the customer's supplier of choice through quality analysis. Schedule
2nd shift position: Monday-Friday, 2: 00 PM - 10: 00 PM
May require Saturday & Sunday shifts as needed.
* Selected candidate will train on day shift (2-3 weeks of training) *

Job Requirements
Qualifications
The Coatings Analyst (Production QC) will possess the following qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Basic Computer Skills
Preferred:
- 2 years manufacturing experience
- Paint Application Knowledge/Experience
- Defect Recognition, Analysis and Identification
- Understanding of quality systems and concepts
- SAP Knowledge/Experience (a plus)
