Job Description
Our client is looking for quality assurance professionals to work as Coatings Analysts supporting their team on site at the client production facility in Austin, TX.
This is a long-term contact position and offers a starting pay rate of $28/hour with a retention bonus paid out every 6 months; benefits are available!
The Coatings Analyst (Production QC) position supports coatings products at the client site.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Coatings Analyst (Production QC) position supports coatings products at the client site.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor customers paint line, assisting with defect identification and presenting Internal containment and root cause solutions.
- Appearance and color data gathering, analyzing and identifying process changes to improve.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
The Coatings Analyst (Production QC) will possess the following qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Technical fields (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.) with 2 years of relevant experience
-OR-
- High School Diploma with equivalent technical training and 5 years relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience
- Basic Computer Skills Required (MS Office Suite, Lotus Notes)
Preferred:
- Paint Application Knowledge/Experience
- Defect Recognition, Analysis and Identification
- Understanding of quality systems and concepts
- SAP Knowledge/Experience (a plus)
