This is a long-term contract position with a pay rate of $19.00 hourly. (Possible extension or direct hire. Benefits Available) 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Operator with a strong background in production and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in chemical processes and equipment operation, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, managing production tasks, and supporting team operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate milling, mulling, spheroidizing, and blending equipment in various batch plants.
• Safely operate material moving equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and other machinery.
• Load drums and sacks with finished solid chemical products.
• Complete required daily production documentation accurately.
• Identify and report safety violations or concerns.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing support and work directly with product and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members on operational activities as needed.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping, safety, and attendance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Comply with all safety standards, including the use of proper protective equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production manufacturing environment.
• Experience in chemical processes and manufacturing assembly/production.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Strong teamwork, attendance, and housekeeping skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including SAP knowledge preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and in small, confined spaces.
• Must adhere to facial hair policies and wear proper protective equipment, including face masks or shields when required.
