Our Client, a large chemical manufacturer is looking for a Chemical Lab Tech to join their i team!

This is a long-term contract role (possible extension or direct hire) with a pay rate of $21.00 hourly. (Benefits available) 

Position Overview:

As an R&D Pilot Plant Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our team with various tasks including equipment setup, chemical handling, sample analytics, process operations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You'll also assist in moving and assembling large equipment and containers, so physical capability is a must.

Schedule and Work Environment:

• Monday to Friday, normal working hours 
• Some flexibility in start/stop times, with advance approval
• Occasional adjustments to the weekly schedule based on project needs
• Onsite position only, no remote work available
• Initial one-year assignment with potential for extension

Minimum BS in a scientific discipline

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and containers

Strong prioritization skills

Experience with analytical instrumentation and computer literacy

Proficiency in assembling and using hand tools
