About the Opportunity
Our Client is seeking a Principal Analyst – CS Business Systems to support major industrial customer billing operations within a SAP-based utility billing environment. This role is ideal for a highly analytical systems professional who thrives at the intersection of business operations and technology, particularly within customer service and electric utility billing systems.
This position plays a key leadership role in analyzing system issues, designing enhanced functionality, and partnering cross-functionally with IT and business teams to implement scalable, integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with IT architects and technical teams to define project scope, system enhancements, and defect resolutions
Design and configure SAP-based system solutions aligned with business process requirements
Validate system designs with business stakeholders to ensure functional accuracy and expected outcomes
Lead cross-functional testing efforts, including system integration, performance, user acceptance, and technical architecture testing
Develop test scripts, test cases, input data, and expected results
Oversee completeness and consistency of system design documentation
Support release control processes to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements
Provide advanced business and technical expertise related to customer service billing systems
Lead high-level end-to-end system design initiatives across integrated platforms
Required Qualifications (Dual-Track Eligibility)
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology and 6+ years of experience performing technical or systems analysis
OR
Equivalent combination of progressive experience in technical/system analysis roles
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced expertise in SAP technology, including utility billing platforms
Experience supporting major account billing operations
Strong understanding of system functions supporting customer service business processes
Ability to analyze business workflows and identify integration requirements
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives
