Job Description
We are looking for auto technicians to work on special event vehicles. Even small engine mechanics will be considered. This work includes, interior, exterior, chassis and powertrain.
Description: The Automotive Technician position is primarily responsible for mechanical support for show and event vehicles used by customers of the Special Vehicles operation. The position requires following established practices and procedures to ensure quality performance to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Essential job functions:
Basic vehicle retrofit work.
Maintain and repair vehicles.
Perform vehicle and display tear down/build functions
Perform vehicle evaluations and dynamic vehicle audits
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
1 year of prior vehicle mechanical experience. Strong mechanical skill required state or ASE certifications not required but desirable. Must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and desire to produce work of highest quality. Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Also requires the following skills: Strong communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers. High degree of professionalism; must represent company in a positive manner. Ability to analyze problems and execute effective resolutions quickly. Ability to follow established processes and procedures and follow detailed directions. Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and follow through on required tasks. Some computer experience a plus
Other Requirements: Lifting requirements: 5 40 lbs. Requires moderate to high level of physical activity Travel may be required to special events; amount/length will vary based on event schedule
