Shift:

• Initial training on day shift (up to 2 months).
• Primary schedule: Afternoon shift, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, weekdays.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare automotive coatings test panels and parts using automated application equipment.
• Conduct equipment metrology, preventative maintenance, and coatings testing with precision.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental spray trials and other tasks.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials; ensure compliance with corporate safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and adhere to housekeeping standards.
• Develop and maintain expertise in painting processes, participating in experimental spray trials as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or Trade School Certification preferred for higher rate. Chemistry and algebra aptitude desirable; some college-level chemistry or math is advantageous.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to record and communicate technical information accurately.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
