Data Analyst – Program Evaluation
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $39.80/hour

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support program evaluation, performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. This hybrid position based in Detroit, MI offers an opportunity to work on impactful community-focused initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret program-related data.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings.
Conduct statistical analysis to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain data accuracy and integrity through quality control processes.
Program Evaluation & Performance Monitoring
Design and implement performance metrics to assess program success.
Conduct literature reviews and research to identify best practices.
Assist in developing program improvement recommendations based on evaluation results.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with program staff, community partners, and stakeholders to gather relevant data.
Communicate insights through written reports, presentations, and verbal briefings.
Provide training and technical assistance to team members on data tools and analysis techniques.
Engage with community members to ensure data collection and analysis align with their needs.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field such as Public Policy, Social Sciences, Statistics, or Data Science preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in an analytical, research, or program evaluation role.
Proven ability to perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting.
Experience with tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, SQL, or Power BI.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
