Data Analyst – Program Evaluation
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $39.80/hour
Schedule: Full-Time - Supplier Sourced

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support program evaluation, performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. This hybrid position based in Detroit, MI offers an opportunity to work on impactful community-focused initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret program-related data.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings.

  • Conduct statistical analysis to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity through quality control processes.

Program Evaluation & Performance Monitoring

  • Design and implement performance metrics to assess program success.

  • Conduct literature reviews and research to identify best practices.

  • Assist in developing program improvement recommendations based on evaluation results.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with program staff, community partners, and stakeholders to gather relevant data.

  • Communicate insights through written reports, presentations, and verbal briefings.

  • Provide training and technical assistance to team members on data tools and analysis techniques.

  • Engage with community members to ensure data collection and analysis align with their needs.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field such as Public Policy, Social Sciences, Statistics, or Data Science preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in an analytical, research, or program evaluation role.

  • Proven ability to perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting.

  • Experience with tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, SQL, or Power BI.

  • Experience working with diverse populations.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
