Damage Claims & Prevention Analyst

Our client is seeking a Damage Claims & Prevention Analyst to support our Damage Claims and Damage Prevention team within Gas Operations. This role will play a critical part in supporting damage prevention data analytics and billing processes, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide data entry, validation, and analysis to support damage prevention initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop materials and reports for vendors and the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC).
• Conduct research, studies, and prepare reports to drive insights and improve processes.
• Identify issues, analyze problems, recommend solutions, and administer programs independently.
• Assist with billing and collection processes, coordinating with internal and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field preferred).
• Experience resolving internal and external complaints in a professional setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and reporting.
• Prior collections experience with vendors and internal teams.
• Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
