Job Description

Our client, a major utility company, is looking for an entry level accounting professional to support their team in Detroit, MI, as a Financial Analyst. 
 
 

This is a long-term contract position (eligible for extension or direct hire for the right candidate) with a starting pay rate of $37.95/hour (benefits are available). 

Selected candidates will work a hybrid schedule (3 days on site, 2 days remote). 

Current College Students welcome in the field of Accounting, Finance, or Business.
 

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing financial data using work management system, ERP System, and Asset Management System.
  • Utilize Excel with intermediate to advanced features to analyze account data.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field. 
    • Current students in these fields are also eligible for the role.
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry.
  •  Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications as well as with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
