Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Data Entry Clerk to join the team at the Kettleman Hills Landfill site. In this role, you will be responsible for entering account data into computer systems accurately and efficiently, ensuring coding accuracy, and maintaining data integrity across key systems.
Responsibilities
Enter account data with a high level of accuracy and minimal errors.
Review, reject, and return incorrectly coded data to appropriate departments.
Use advanced editing and coding skills to correct errors on source documents.
Maintain and update reference materials for data entry operations.
Review processed work for accuracy and identify errors for correction.
Re-run and validate data batches as needed, including credit card information validation.
Qualifications
Required: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 0–4 years of previous clerical, administrative, or data entry experience.
Preferred: Additional specialized training or clerical certifications.
Strong keyboarding/data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in an office environment.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based role.
Occasional exposure to landfill elements such as noise, odors, and weather conditions.
Light physical effort (lifting under 30 lbs may be required occasionally).
