2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay Rate: $38.68/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM (team works 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM; supervisor arrives early/stays late to coordinate across shifts)
Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will provide leadership to a second-shift manufacturing team, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are achieved. This role will focus on managing assembly operations, supporting continuous improvement, and developing a strong team culture. The supervisor will coordinate with first and third shifts to ensure smooth workflow and on-time production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production operations for assigned areas within the facility.
- Supervise and support a team of 20+ employees, ensuring daily production goals are met.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Promote and enforce safety standards, 5S practices, and quality requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting, process improvements, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving issues and maintaining production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Previous supervisory experience overseeing 20+ employees.
- Strong background in manufacturing assembly operations (motors, heavy equipment, vehicles, or similar).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Automotive or heavy equipment assembly experience.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
